Event Calendar: Bringing Adoptable Dogs into the Community
Not only will you find us every Sunday at the PetSmart across from The Falls, but did you know that we also have relationships with the PetSupermarket in Coconut Grove and Pinecrest? Please stop by to say HELLO to our volunteers and adoptable dogs at any of our events.

Because of our adoption van, volunteers are able to take available dogs to events such as Dog Day at Fairchild, local school functions, birthday parties and even girl scout troop meetings. This is a great way for our Rescue to help educate everyone not only about the animals we save from the pound, but other ways to help the community in general.

PETSUPERMARKET ADOPTION EVENTS
First and Third Saturday from 10:30am - 1:30pm
Pinecrest PetSupermarket (11915 South Dixie Highway)

Second and Fourth Saturday from 11am - 3pm
Coconut Grove PetSupermarket (2720 South Dixie Highway)

While we do have some pure breed dogs on occasion, most of our pups are mixed making each very unique. From Chihuahuas to Labradors - from white and grays to black and browns - from long coats to short fur - the Rescue has a wide range of dogs perfectly bred for YOUR family!

Adoption events are open to the public, but only pre-approved applicants will be able to adopt the same day.



PETSMART WEEKLY ADOPTION EVENTS
Every Sunday from 11am - 4pm
Colonial Palms PetSmart on US1 and SW 136 Street (across from The Falls)

Sunday is our biggest event of the week where volunteers and dogs all come together to meet the public.

Visit with volunteers in the store or out on the grass to learn about our adoption and foster programs or ask about volunteering at our weekly and special events.  Adoptable dogs will be available to walk, brush & play!

ART ZOO
Finnegan's River
Saturday, December 3

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Art Basel Week, Paws 4 You accepted an invitation to partner up with Hope International for Art Zoo.  Art Zoo was a fun filled afternoon along the Miami River with animal themed art installations including sculptures, paintings and performance artists. Guests brought their dog to Finnegan's River and visited with all the adoptable puppies and dogs. Thank you to Hope International, all the sponsors, donors, guests, artists, performers and photographers for making the day very special.


CASINO NIGHT
Cauley Square
Saturday, November 12

Every guest had a terffic time spending their evening at Cauley Square.  The night air couldn't have been more perfect and the music was the highlight of the night.  Raffle prizes were top of the line and the silent auction had the most beautiful jewelry around and one of a kind BEAGLE paintings from Dean Russo out of New York.  Dinner under the stars was delicious, not to mention the sweet cupcakes.

ALL the Blackjack Tables were full the entire night as well as the Roulette and Craps Tables.  Cauley Square is divine and those who hadn't been before were very impressed with the elegant scenery.  If you couldn't join us, plans are in the works for next year already!

SANDY PAWS
Island Veterinary Clinic, Key Biscayne

Sandy Paws is back in town! Sponsored by Dr. Steve Eastman, this close relative of Santa Claus continued the tradition at the Island Veterinary Clinic. This fundraiser is not only fun for the volunteers but for all those who were able to take home a Holiday picture!



CONCERT 4 PAWS
Transit Lounge
Thursday, October 13

Thank you for rockin' out with your dog along with us and Hail Mary for a pet-friendly concert Thursday, October 13, at Transit Lounge.  Other performances by Los Bastardos Magnificos, Dreaming in Stereo, Paola Beschin and Lovers for Lunatics were fantastic. Wine and cheese were compliments of HRM Rex-Goliath and Kork Wine & Cheese. Cupcake.Love.Miami and Valor Chocolates had delicious treats for every guest.  Every four legged attendee received a goodie bag from B3 Freshly Baked Biscuits.  And best of all, three Caribbean trips were donated by Elite Island Resorts --- the winners were estatic.  Other sponsors included Shooger.com, Mariani Orthodontics and Perry Ellis International.
